Dora Bryant
Resident Care Coordinator
Meet Dora Bryant, Woodridge’s newest Resident Care Coordinator (RCC)! Dora worked at Woodridge during her pregnancy and now has 2 beautiful girls at home and a loving fiancé. Dora is an accomplished QMA, CNA, and Medical Assistant with certificates in phlebotomy, first aid, and insulin. When she got her promotion, she said that the RCC role fit her! The job would be rocky but she was going to find the best way to care for her residents. Her goals are to get back to the basics that nursing forgot about and nitpick through the job to make sure every resident is cared for properly and there isn’t a thing falling through the cracks. She loves helping and caring for people who cannot care for themselves. She truly has a nursing heart of gold.
Originally from Chicago, Dora has lived in South Bend for 3 years now. Dora started in healthcare by doing laundry, housekeeping, dietary, and scaling higher and higher. She wants to move further up in the medical field by receiving her administrator’s license and being the Director of Nursing one day. Strong-headed and goal orientated are just a few of the adjectives that describe Dora. She also is artistic, innovative, and crafty. She prides herself on self-care, she used to own her own fashion business where she sold clothes, did hair, and made people feel beautiful on the inside and out. The business was called “Pretty Misses Collection” and was based in Chicago. Dora also enjoys being an influencer on social media sites during her downtime. Her ultimate goal for the future is to move out of state, retire with a lot of money, and travel overseas around the world.
This young RCC is ready to tackle the world! We are sure she will accomplish all that she sets out for because of her motivation and her yearning to learn and grow! She is truly a positive and wonderful individual that the residents and staff already have grown to love. Thank you for being a part of the Woodridge family.
