Business Office Manager
Meet Shay Melchor, the newest manager at Woodridge. Shay is the front desk and business office manager with many hidden talents, outstanding accomplishments, and useful skills. One of Shay’s accomplishments is her education from Bethel; she pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and had used her degree to help many lives at her previous job. Her ideal job would be doing anything while helping and educating people. She has a heart of gold and has used her heart to guide her in receiving a CNA license and a phlebotomist license.
Shay’s friends would describe her as persistent, friendly, and passionate. She has yearning to broaden her horizons and gain new experiences, to advance her goal to help people. She is not afraid to stick up for herself or other people. Shay chose to work at Woodridge because she thought she would be an asset for helping our senior community. We are lucky to add her to our devoted team.
Other skills and hobbies Shay possesses are her knack for reading and painting; her favorite literature to pick up is informational or biographical. Shay was born in Chicago and hails from a large family. She has an eight-year-old daughter and Jack Russel Terrier named Lily that rules her life outside of work. She even created a podcast dedicated to her life with her daughter. Our multi-talented business manager has high expectations and should fit in well with the Woodridge family.
